Epic – First Semester, directed by debutant Aditya Haasan, stars Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya in the lead roles. Aditya had earlier directed the web series 90s – A Middle Class Biopic, which became a huge hit on OTT platforms.

This film is a continuation of 90s – A Middle Class Biopic. In the web series, the story revolved around school students, while Epic – First Semester takes the story forward into the next phase of their lives. Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya are now playing the lead pair in the film version. The teaser has already impressed audiences, and now the makers have unveiled the second single, 'Priyasakhi'.

The melody is already winning hearts with its soothing vibe and emotional depth. Centered around the feeling of love, the song beautifully captures the silent admiration, affection, and emotions a young man carries for someone special.

The film is backed by producers Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, while Srikara Studios is presenting the film. Epic – First Semester is scheduled to hit theatres this July.
