Senior actor Arjun Sarja is popular across Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada cinema. Popularly known as the “Action King,” he will be next seen in the action-entertainer Blast Zone, which is releasing as Blast in Tamil. The actor is in Hyderabad to promote the film. He made his Telugu debut with Maa Pallelo Gopaludu and went on to build a strong fan base in Telugu cinema.

During a media interaction about his latest film, Arjun said that during his recent meeting with former actor and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, they discussed the parallels between the former's iconic film Mudhalvan (Oke Okkadu in Telugu) and the latter's meteoric rise in politics to become the Chief Minister. “When I met Chief Minister Vijay, he himself mentioned the same thing. He told me he had seen many reels about Oke Okkadu. Vijay garu said that when he looks at the Chief Minister’s chair for the first time, he remembers that film,” said Arjun Sarja.

The actor further expressed happiness over Vijay’s political success. “I feel proud that Vijay became the Chief Minister because he belongs to our film fraternity. It is quite an achievement to win in the very first election. We always feel happy when someone from the film industry reaches such a position,” he added.

Replying in a lighter vein to a question about whether he will enter politics, Arjun said, “You don’t want me to live a peaceful life?” As he went on to clarify, “The desire to enter politics should come from within the heart, and I don’t have that intention. Politics today has changed a lot, and it also requires huge financial backing,” he added. Arjun concluded by saying that everyone wants to contribute positively to society in their own way. “Even though I want to do good, I try to do it within my limits,” he said.

His upcoming film Blast, starring Abhirami and Preity Mukundhan in leads, also stars Vivek Prasanna, John Kokken, Arjun Chidambaram, Pawan, Dileepan, Vinod Sagar, and Bala Hasan R in important roles. The film marks the reunion of Arjun and Abhirami after Vaanavil (2000). Known for his passion for martial arts, Blast, according to Arjun, is the very first film in which he plays a Karate expert.
