Director Prasanth Varma's 2024 fantasy adventure HanuMan, starring Teja Sajja in the lead role, turned out into a success at the box office. The fantasy action drama, which blended mythology with contemporary storytelling, became a nationwide sensation after its release. Now, the makers have officially announced that the film is set to return to theatres with a 3D version.

The National Award-winning film will have a global 3D release on June 25, offering audiences a fresh and more immersive cinematic experience.

Produced by K Niranjan Reddy under the banner of PrimeShow Entertainment, HanuMan earned widespread acclaim during its original theatrical run for its imaginative world-building, emotional storytelling, and impressive technical quality. The makers now believe that the enhanced 3D presentation will further elevate the magical world of Anjanadri and bring audiences closer to the film’s fantasy universe.

Amritha Aiyer plays the female lead in the film, with a cast that includes Vinay Rai, Samuthirakani, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Vennela Kishore, among others.

Cinematographer Dasaradhi Sivendra was praised for creating the film’s visually striking atmosphere. The music composed by Gowra Hari and Anudeep Dev added emotional strength to the narrative.

Prasanth Varma is currently directing Jai Hanuman, which stars Rishab Shetty in the lead. He has also written the story for the followup feature to HanuMan, titled Mahakali, which stars Akshaye Khanna, Rohit Saraf, and Bhoomi Shetty, among others.
