The trailer launch event for Peddi, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, was originally scheduled to take place in Bhopal on May 16. However, the makers have now shifted the event to Mumbai, where it will be held on May 18.

Despite the change in venue, Bhopal continues to play a key role in the film’s promotional campaign. The team is planning a major song shoot in the city, followed by a grand musical event.

Director Buchi Babu Sana confirmed the plans, stating that they intend to host a large-scale musical celebration in Bhopal. “We wanted to do something on a very big scale in Bhopal. We felt launching a special song from the film with a grand musical event would be the right approach. We want to host the biggest musical event in Bhopal,” he said.

He further revealed that the team, including the lead cast, makers, and music department, will be part of the event. “We have already conducted a preliminary recce in Bhopal, and everyone has fallen in love with the city. We believe we can connect with the entire nation from the heart of India,” he added.

With each update, Peddi continues to build strong anticipation. Songs like Chikiri Chikiri and Rai Rai Raa Raa are already trending online, adding to the film’s growing popularity.

Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi features Ram Charan in the titular role, alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, in association with Mythri Movie Makers, and presented in North India by Jio Studios, the film is slated for release on June 4, 2026.
