Sharwanand is headlining the intense drama Bhogi, directed by Sampath Nandi. The film marks a significant shift for the actor, as he reinvents himself in a massive pan-India period action saga and teams up with Sampath Nandi for the first time. Produced by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner and presented by Lakshmi Radhamohan, the project is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious ventures in Sharwanand’s career. The makers have now unveiled the look of one of the female leads, Dimple Hayathi.

Introducing her character Mandaram, the team revealed Dimple Hayathi in a bold and striking avatar. Draped in a fiery red saree, she appears both graceful and intense, holding a traditional palm-leaf hand fan. The rustic setting — complete with antique elements — perfectly captures the 1960s backdrop. Her sharp, unapologetic expression hints at a strong and fearless personality.

Sharing the poster on social media, the makers described her character as: “Introducing Mandaram, the beauty the world desired… a soul it never understood.” Mandaram is portrayed as a bold and powerful woman who lives on her own terms, carrying a fierce attitude that matches the film’s intense tone.

The team has recently completed filming several high-intensity action sequences on an extensively built set replicating a 1960s Telangana village in Hyderabad. The shoot is progressing at a brisk pace, with the makers confident about the film’s scale and action-packed narrative.

Bhogi also stars Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead, with her character presented as an innocent and hardworking village belle. Set in the early 1960s, the film unfolds in a fictional village along the Telangana–Maharashtra border.

The project boasts a strong technical team, with art direction by Kiran Kumar Manne and cinematography by A Kishor Kumar. The music, composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, is expected to add emotional depth and energy to the narrative.

Positioned as a major pan-India film, Bhogi is slated for a grand theatrical release on August 28, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, coinciding with the festive occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
