Actor Bharath Kanth passes away at 31 due to vehicle collision

Bharath Kanth worked in the Telugu film industry where he was part of projects like Tenant and Gramam

Actor Bharath Kanth, who was part of the Telugu film industry, passed away at the age of 31 due to a road accident. Late on Sunday, the car in which he was travelling collided with a truck, at the Outer Ring Road, Hyderabad.

A second person, who was travelling with Bharath has also passed away. While the events leading up to crash is under investigation by the local police, the bodies of the victims were shifted for post-mortem examinations. The identity of the second victim hasn't been revealed.

The actor has been part of various web series. He starred in Gramam (2021), a fantasy thriller that follows a group of medical students who investigate the superstitions in a village, after a mysterious murder.

Bharath later starred in Tenant, which was directed by Y Yugandhar. The film, which features Satyam Rajesh and Megha Chowdhury in the lead, reflects the lifestyle of the urban demographic.

He has also starred in Geethanjali and Parvathi Parameshwarulu.
