The video glimpse of Vrushakarma, starring Naga Chaitanya and Meenakshi Chaudhary, was unveiled on Thursday at an event in Hyderabad. Directed by Virupaksha fame Karthik Dandu, the film hints at the story having a mix of fantasy, supernatural, and mythical elements.

Speaking on the occasion, Naga Chaitanya had high praise for both the film and its director. “Vrushakarma is going to be the best film of my career,” he said. The actor added that he was convinced about the project the moment he heard the script.

“As an actor, I always wanted to do a larger-than-life film with spectacle, mythology, and multiple layers. My wish has come true with Vrushakarma,” said Chaitanya.

He revealed that while director Karthik Dandu was writing the script, he approached producer Bapineedu and also met the director a couple of times. “I requested them that if there was any opportunity for me in the project, I would love to be part of it. They said they would get back to me, and after some time they did. That’s how this project started,” he explained.

Chaitanya further said that after hearing the script, he had several doubts because of the film’s massive scale. “The script is mind-blowing. Since the film is larger than life and demands a lot, I initially wondered how Karthik would execute it. But the team answered all my questions during every schedule. They made the film without any compromises, and Karthik got everything he envisioned. I can confidently say he is one of the most thorough filmmakers,” he said.

The actor continued to praise Karthik Dandu for his dedication. “I can speak about Karthik for a lifetime because he has given me so much through this film. Whatever you expect from a film of this scale is there in Vrushakarma. The last half hour of the film, especially the climax, will definitely be a benchmark for Indian cinema audiences,” he added.

Chaitanya also appreciated music director Ajaneesh Loknath and VFX supervisor Rajeev for their work. “What you have seen in the glimpse is just ten percent. The full experience will be much bigger when you watch the film,” he said.

He also welcomed Sparsh Shrivastava, who plays the antagonist in the film. “Sparsh looks completely different on screen. Welcome to Telugu cinema, Sparsh,” said Chaitanya.

Naga Chaitanya also extended his wishes to his co-star Meenakshi Chaudhary, who plays the female lead and is celebrating her birthday today.
