Rakasa teaser: Sangeeth Shoban is a fish out of water in this horror

Rakasa is written and directed by Manasa Sharma, and stars Sangeeth Shoban and Nayan Sarika in the lead

The teaser for the upcoming horror flick, Rakasa, has been released. The upcoming film, written and directed by Manasa Sharma, is set to release on April 3.

The trailer teases the story being centred on Veeru (Sangeeth Shoban), a man from the US, who visits a village for a wedding. After a series of mishaps, he is drawn into certain mysteries plaguing the village, which forces him to prove his innocence.

The cast of the film also includes Nayan Sarika, Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi, Getup Srinu, Sukhwinder Singh, Anoop Singh, Vasu Inturi, Rohini, and Rohan Roy.

Anudeep Dev is composing music for Rakasa, with lyrics by Raghuram, Simhachalam Mannela, and Kittu Vissapragada. The crew of the film includes Edurolu Raju as the director of photography, Anwar Ali as the editor, Ramanjaneyulu as the production designer, and Vijay as the action choreographer.

Rakasa is produced by Niharika Konidela and Umesh Kumar Bansal. Pink Elephant Pictures and Zee Studios are backing the film.
