Prashanth Neel at 46: Anil Kapoor calls him visionary, Jr NTR and Rukmini Vasanth share excitement for Dragon

This Thursday marks Prashanth Neel's birthday. The filmmaker, best known for the KGF franchise and Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, turns 46 today. Some of the prominent actors who have starred or are featuring in his films have wished him on his birthday. Taking to his Instagram Stories, Anil Kapoor shared a still featuring him with Prashanth and wrote, "Many happy returns of the day to a true visionary, a fearless builder, and above all, a phenomenal human being. Grateful to collaborate, learn, and grow alongside someone who continues to inspire through action and ambition. Happy birthday, Prashanth. Wishing you an incredible year ahead."

Anil Kapoor stars in the filmmaker's upcoming project, titled Dragon and co-starring Jr NTR. Speaking of which, Jr NTR shared a still of his Dragon filmmaker and wrote, "Happy birthday director avare... May this year for you be as grand as the stories you tell... Can't wait to see what lies ahead for us Prashanth."

Recently, Prashanth Neel described Dragon as the biggest project in his career and promised that it will have the darkest role in Jr NTR's filmography. Meanwhile, Prabhas, the star of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, took to his Instagram Stories, shared a still of the filmmaker and wished him a happy birthday. "Wishing you the best in everything," Prabhas wrote.

Prithviraj Sukumaran, another key cast member of Salaar, also wished the director on his birthday. Prithviraj has often said that while Prashanth takes on familiar stories, he makes his films unique with his distinctive filmmaking style. The filmmaker is expected to reunite with Prithviraj and Prabhas for a second chapter in the Salaar franchise.

Meanwhile, he is working on Dragon, which also stars Rukmini Vasanth. Earlier this Thursday, Rukmini took to her Instagram Stories and wrote, "Happy birthday Prashanth sir. I'm so grateful to be a part of your world and to witness your vision up close. Working with you has been inspiring in more ways than one. Can't wait for everyone to experience the extraordinary world you're creating with Dragon."
