Rashmika Mandanna has reportedly sustained a serious injury while rehearsing for a song sequence in her upcoming film Mysaa. According to reports, the actor suffered the injury during the rehearsal in Hyderabad and has been advised by doctors to take complete rest for nearly six weeks. Mysaa is one of Rashmika Mandanna's most prestigious projects, as it is a female-centric film in which she plays the lead role.

Rashmika is at present juggling between two big projects one is Ranabaali where she is playing female lead in this period drama opposite her husband actor Vijay Deverakonda. The other one is Mysaa, in which she is playing a tribal woman of Telangana. Recently the actor went to Kerala and shot some action episodes which she did on her own without using any body double.

After that she is back to Hyderabad and filming for a song, in which she has to jump in a sequence and wrongly land and sustain injury, says the report.

According to reports, the continuous action sequences and dance performances for these projects resulted in a complete tendon detachment in her hip area. Doctors are said to have been surprised by the severity of the injury, noting that such tendon damage is usually seen only in athletes who undergo intense physical training.

After consulting with the doctors, they have advised Rashmika to take complete rest for six weeks. They have also recommended a rehabilitation program to help the tendon heal and regain strength.

Rashmika is currently one of the busiest pan-India actors, juggling the shoots of four major films. In addition, she serves as the brand ambassador for around 30 products. Due to her injury, the shooting schedules for her films as well as several advertising campaigns are expected to be affected.

Ranabaali, a period drama, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, has already announced the release date as September 11. Mythri Movie Makers is producing this prestigious project of Vijay Deverakonda. With Rashmika injured and asked for six weeks rest and then rehabilitation, this Ranabaali may be postponed indefinitely, says the source.

This is not the first time Rashmika Mandanna has suffered an injury. Earlier this year, she sustained a serious leg injury while working out in the gym during the promotions of Chhaava. Despite the injury, she continued promoting the film and attended several promotional events while walking with a noticeable limp. Now, reports of another injury have once again raised concerns among her fans.
