Rashmika Mandanna has been making headlines consistently, and while Vijay Deverakonda recently announced his new project with director Shouryuv, Rashmika is busy preparing for one of the most demanding roles of her career. Amid multiple commitments in Telugu and Hindi, the actor is currently undergoing rigorous eight-hour a day training for a major action sequence in her upcoming film Mysaa.
Directed by debutant Rawindra Pulle and produced by Unformula Films, Mysaa features Rashmika in the role of a tribal Gond girl — a character that demands both emotional depth and physical intensity. With international action director Andy Long overseeing the stunts, the film aims to set a new benchmark for female-led action films in Indian cinema.
Deeply moved by the script, Rashmika reportedly chose to undergo a complete physical and mental transformation for the role. She has flown to Bangkok to take part in an intensive stunt and combat training program.
Her routine is said to be extremely demanding, with nearly eight hours of training every day. She is learning advanced stunt techniques, hand-to-hand combat, and high-speed action choreography under experienced international trainers. Visuals from her training sessions show a focused and determined side of the actor, far removed from her usual on-screen persona.
The team is set to begin a crucial 16-day action schedule in Kerala soon, and Rashmika’s training is specifically designed to prepare her for this phase.
If her current level of preparation is anything to go by, Mysaa is more than just another project for Rashmika — it marks a significant transformation and a major milestone in her career. Anticipation is steadily building around her never-seen-before avatar as the team moves ahead with production.
The film also stars Eshwari Rao, Guru Somasundaram, and Rao Ramesh in key roles.
