The producer of Dulquer Salmaan and Pooja Hegde's upcoming film, Sri Sri, revealed earlier this Saturday that its first song will drop on July 27, Monday. Producer Sudhakar Cherukuri's SLV Cinemas banner made the announcement with a new poster for the song, titled 'Bomma Bomma'. The makers describe it as "a song that will rekindle countless beautiful memories."

The 41st film in Dulquer Salmaan's career and the 10th production venture for SLV Cinemas, Sri Sri is directed by first-time filmmaker Ravi Nelakuditi. The film marks the first collaboration between Dulquer Salmaan and Pooja Hegde. It brings Pooja Hegde back to Telugu cinema after 2022's F3: Fun and Frustration. Dheekshith Shetty and Ramya Krishnan are also part of its cast.

The makers of Sri Sri are yet to reveal plot specifics. However, through its promotional materials, they continue to tease a romantic drama, reportedly with plenty of emotions at its core. "Love will spark again," reads a piece of promotional text that has come with the latest song release update.

On the technical front, the upcoming film has music by GV Prakash. It is worth noting that GV Prakash worked on the music for Dulquer's 2024 film Lucky Baskhar and is set to compose the soundtrack for the actor's upcoming film Aakasamlo Oka Tara.

Previously known as DQ41, the film's technical team also includes cinematographer Anay Om Goswamy, production designer Avinash Kolla, and editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.

Reportedly a pan-India project planned for a release in multiple languages, Sri Sri is still under production. The film is expected to release in theatres sometime later this year or early next year. The makers are yet to set an official release date for it.
