The trailer of Chennai Love Story was unveiled on Saturday at an event in Hyderabad. Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya play the lead roles, while Ravi Namburi makes his directorial debut with the film. Produced by SKN and Sai Rajesh under the Mass Movie Makers and Amrutha Productions banners, the film is all set to hit theatres on July 24. With the release date approaching, the makers have intensified the promotions.

Veteran producer Allu Aravind unveiled the trailer and expressed confidence in the film. After watching it, he said he believes Chennai Love Story has all the ingredients to become a super hit. Even before its release, the makers have been promoting it as a cult classic, reflecting their confidence in the film.

The trailer introduces Sri Gouri Priya as a heartbroken girl who has gone through a failed relationship and turned to alcohol to cope with her emotional pain. Kiran Abbavaram plays an aspiring filmmaker who comes to Chennai to pursue his dream. Their paths cross unexpectedly, setting the stage for an emotional and interesting love story. One of the highlights of the trailer is its dialogue-driven narrative, with several thoughtful conversations grabbing attention.

Music composer Mani Sharma adds emotional depth to the trailer with his soothing background score. Considering that SKN and Sai Rajesh usually back films with strong and unique content, the trailer suggests that Chennai Love Story also has an interesting premise. Another notable aspect is that Sai Rajesh has provided the story, while Ravi Namburi, who earlier worked with him on Baby, has directed the film.

Kiran Abbavaram is equally confident about the film's prospects and believes it will give him a hat-trick of successes. Speaking at the event, he even suggested that the producers should hold premieres on July 23 without releasing the trailer, highlighting his confidence in the film. Director Ravi Namburi has also given Kiran the title 'Original Star' with this film. He revealed that the lead pair dedicated more than 100 days to the shoot and promised that the film's climax would be one of its biggest highlights.

The promotions have also caught everyone's attention. Despite heavy rain in Hyderabad, Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya arrived at the trailer launch in an auto-rickshaw, drawing cheers from fans. The team has now embarked on a promotional tour covering Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Guntur, and several other cities. Going by their extensive campaign, the makers appear determined to leave no stone unturned in taking Chennai Love Story to the audience.
