Ushering in New Year 2026, the makers of Spirit unveiled the much-awaited first look of Prabhas, instantly grabbing attention. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film features Tripti Dimri as the female lead, marking her first collaboration with the actor. The poster presents Prabhas in a fiercely raw and intense avatar, one that signals a departure even from his recent larger-than-life roles.

In the first look, Prabhas appears shirtless, sporting visible bruises and scars across his body, adding to the gritty mood of the image. The frame avoids revealing his face fully, instead focusing on his scarred back, marked with stitches and bandages. A woman — presumably Tripti Dimri—can be seen lighting a cigarette for him, a visual that subtly hints at a complex and possibly volatile relationship. The imagery is unmistakably Sandeep Reddy Vanga, steeped in darkness, intensity, and provocation.

Prabhas’ first look from Spirit

With a thick beard and long, unkempt hair, Prabhas exudes a rugged, macho presence that aligns perfectly with the director’s trademark storytelling style. Confirmed to be playing a cop in Spirit, the actor’s look suggests a character driven by rage, inner turmoil, and moral conflict. The poster makes it clear that Vanga is once again leaning into a hard-hitting, action-heavy narrative, echoing the tonal shades of Animal and flashes of Arjun Reddy.

Apart from Prabhas and Tripti Dimri, the film also stars Vivek Oberoi in a key role. Prabhas has already begun shooting for Spirit, even as he gears up for the release of his horror-comedy The Raja Saab, slated to hit theatres on January 9, 2026. With just a single poster, Spirit has successfully set expectations sky-high, promising a visceral cinematic experience rooted in intensity and style.
