The first single, 'Chikiri Chikiri', from Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi was released a few weeks ago. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film has music composed by Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman.
This ambitious pan-India project is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on April 30. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, the film features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead.
The 'First Shot' glimpse and the first single, composed by AR Rahman, received a tremendous response.
The makers have now announced the release of the second single, 'Rai Rai Raa Raa,' which is scheduled to drop on March 2. The newly released poster showcases Ram Charan in a raw and earthy avatar, hinting at another energetic number.
With Rahman’s music already striking the right chord and the team preparing for aggressive promotions, Peddi is shaping up to be one of the most awaited mass entertainers of the year. The film also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma and Boman Irani in key roles. Ram Charan will reportedly be seen in a completely new avatar in the film.
The project boasts a strong technical crew, with cinematography by R Rathnavelu, editing by National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli, and production design by Avinash Kolla, promising a visually rich cinematic experience.
