Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently tied the knot with director Raj Nidimoru in a Linga Bhairava Vivaha ceremony at the Isha Foundation at Coimbatore on December 1, 2025. Although reports of her relationship were making the rounds for a while, the wedding came as a surprise, as the actor announced the same on Instagram.

Now, in a recent interview with Vogue India, the actor has opened up about what kind of couple she and Raj are. "Raj and I really are that irritating couple that does everything together. We work together, we play together, and we work out together with Paridhi. And we love it. If I have to travel for even a day, I’m like… [pretends to faint in distress.] I don’t think it’s a honeymoon phase. Too much time has passed for it to be that,” Samantha shared.

She then likened them to Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese to explain how Raj has helped her as an actor. “Leonardo DiCaprio keeps on working with Martin Scorsese, and his performances just keep getting more layered. I think I’m becoming a better actor because Raj is around,” she explained.

As per reports, Samantha and Raj first met when she starred in The Family Man season 2 in 2021. Rumours of the two dating came up after she reunited with the Raj and DK duo for Citadel: Honey Bunny.

On the work front, Samantha is currently working on her next, Maa Inti Bangaram. Helmed by BV Nandini Reddy, the upcoming film is Samantha's second project as a producer, backed under her Tralala Moving Pictures banner, after Subham (2025), and is set to hit theatres on May 15. Raj is also producing the film along with Himank Duvvuru. He has also written the film along with Vasanth Maringanti.
