Popular writer Kona Venkat is now focusing more on production as he gears up for his upcoming film Band Melam. The first song from the film was unveiled by director Anil Ravipudi, and the makers are now planning to release the teaser on Tuesday. Harsh Roshan and Sridevi Apalla, who created a sensation with the film Court, are reuniting as the lead pair in Band Melam.

Young and talented Harsh Roshan earned widespread appreciation for his performance in Court, while Sridevi Apalla also impressed audiences with her screen presence. Now, this much-loved duo is all set to charm audiences once again with a fresh love story. Kona Venkat brings this awaited combination together under his banner, Kona Film Corporation, with Kavya and Shravya producing the film. Band Melam is slated to hit theatres on March 13.

Titled Band Melam and carrying the tagline ‘Every Beat Has an Emotion’, the film kick-started its musical promotions with a peppy mass dance number titled ‘Thippukuntannav’. The song was unveiled by Anil Ravipudi and has already struck a chord with listeners. Composer Vijai Bulganin delivers a groovy track that leaves a strong impression. Adding to the surprise, Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose penned the lyrics and tune for the song.

The energetic number is sung by Ramu Rathod and Aditi Bhavaraju, whose vocals complement the rhythm perfectly. Harsh Roshan and Sridevi Apalla showcase impressive dance moves, while choreographer Venkatesh Kapu designs steps that align well with the mass appeal and the actors’ styles.

Directed by Satish Javvaji, Band Melam is described as a soulful tale celebrating music, love, and emotions. Chandrabose is also on board as the lyricist for the film, while Satish Mutyala handles the cinematography. Versatile actor Saikumar plays a key role in the film.
