Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara-starrer Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu released in theatres during Sankranthi and went on to become one of the all-time biggest hits of the Telugu film industry. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film set the cash registers ringing during the festive season and is now ready for its grand OTT debut. The film will start streaming on ZEE5 from February 11.

The platform had acquired the exclusive digital rights of the family entertainer. As announced earlier during the Sankranthi promotional campaign, the film will stream across all available languages on ZEE5, ensuring a wide reach among the Telugu diaspora and South Asian audiences across the globe.

Besides Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu also features Venkatesh Daggubati and Catherine Tresa in key roles.

The film is rooted in emotion, humour and relationships, while also delivering engaging drama. Blending action, comedy and emotional moments, the story follows a national security officer (Chiranjeevi) who sets out to protect his estranged family while rediscovering love, responsibility and redemption. With Chiranjeevi’s enduring screen presence and Nayanthara’s pan-India appeal, the film struck a strong chord with audiences during its theatrical run.

Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is a film that celebrates family, relationships and resilience, all wrapped in entertainment. The love the audience has shown us in theatres has been truly overwhelming. It’s always special when a story moves beyond cinemas and becomes a part of people’s homes,” said Chiranjeevi about the OTT release.

“This film has a beautiful emotional core along with humour and action, and that balance makes it special. Working with Chiranjeevi garu and the entire team was a wonderful experience,” said Nayanthara.

Director Anil Ravipudi added, “This film was designed as a complete family entertainer, rooted in emotions, laughter and thrilling moments. The theatrical response has been extremely encouraging, and I believe the story will connect even more strongly on OTT. With ZEE5 streaming it across all languages, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu will now reach homes across markets and cultures, which is truly exciting for us as creators.”
