Following the success of the Hindi film Dhurandhar, actress Sara Arjun gained widespread recognition, with her Telugu film Euphoria now banking on that popularity. Likewise, music director Shashwat Sachdev is also making his Telugu debut with Nikhil Siddhartha’s ambitious project, The India House.
The film is produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts in association with V Mega Pictures, presented by actor Ram Charan, and directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna. The shoot is currently in progress and is moving at a brisk pace. Mounted on a grand scale, The India House is one of Nikhil Siddhartha’s most ambitious pan-India projects to date.
Backed by Abhishek Agarwal Arts — the banner behind hits like The Kashmir Files and Karthikeya 2 — the film stars Saiee Manjrekar as the female lead, with Anupam Kher playing a crucial role. The project has already generated strong buzz for its scale, cast, and cultural backdrop.
Shashwat Sachdev is also known for Uri: The Surgical Strike and Article 370. This marks his first Telugu film. He has already composed five songs, and the team is reportedly thrilled with the output as song shoots continue.
Set against the politically charged backdrop of 1905, The India House explores themes of revolution, love, and sacrifice. The film features a strong technical crew, with KK Senthil Kumar — renowned for Baahubali and RRR — handling cinematography and Vishal Abani leading the production design.
Celebrated casting director Mukesh Chhabra, known for films like Dangal, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and PK, is overseeing casting. Producer Abhishek Agarwal is personally monitoring every department to ensure the film delivers both emotional depth and cinematic excellence.
