Popular TV and film actor Prabhakar’s son Chandra Hass is turning lead-actor with Barabar Premistha. The film’s pre-release event was held recently, with Aadi Saikumar — who tasted success with his recent film Shambhala — attending as the chief guest. Barabar Premistha is all set to hit the screens on February 6.

Speaking on the occasion, Aadi Saikumar recalled his association with Prabhakar and said they had worked together in Next Nuvve. “I worked with Prabhakar anna in Next Nuvve. Even then, he spoke very highly of Chandra Hass and said he would become a good hero — and I believed him. I’ve seen how hard Chandra works with complete honesty. I sincerely wish him a big hit, and I hope Barabar Premistha becomes a major turning point in his career,” said Aadi.

Chandra Hass said Aadi Saikumar’s journey has been inspiring. “Aadi has made an incredible comeback, and he truly inspires me. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who came here to support me at this event. I can never repay the debt I owe my father Prabhakar, who gave me life and raised me,” said Chandra Hass. He also praised the film’s female lead Meghna, expressing confidence that she will become a big heroine in Telugu cinema.

Talking about music director Dhruvan, Chandra Hass said he is extremely talented and has delivered fantastic songs for the film. He thanked producers Chinny, Chand, and Venky for backing the project without any compromises. “Special thanks to cinematographer Shekhar anna, who played a key role in bringing this project to me,” he added.

Barabar Premistha stars Chandra Hass in the lead role, with Miss India finalist Meghna Mukherjee playing the female lead. Arjun Mahi, known for Ishtamga, essays the antagonist’s role.

The surprise guest at the event was Pooja Bedi, who attended the function as she shares a close bond with the film’s female lead, Meghana, who invited her.
