Allari Naresh needs a good commercial break as he has tried different genres in his earlier films. Now, he is back to his comedy forte with Ramba Oorvasi Menaka, which is directed by Chandramohan Chintada. Razesh Danda is producing this film under his Hasya Movies banner along with the prestigious Annapurna Studios.

The makers announced that it is a fantasy entertainer, as the title itself suggests. Naresh’s earlier film was a thriller, but despite the response, it was removed from theatres. Interestingly, his films alongside other stars did well. In Maharshi, Naresh played a key role in the Mahesh Babu starrer, while in Naa Saami Ranga, Nagarjuna played the lead and Naresh and Raj Tarun played the other two lead roles. Both films did well and earned Naresh appreciation, but he needs a break as a solo lead.

In the last few days, the makers unveiled Naresh’s look and a song from the film, and both received a good response. Now, the makers are planning to release the trailer of the film on August 10 and are also organising an event for it.

The makers are confident that Naresh is back to his strong side of comedy with this film, as they said that audiences can expect his natural punch dialogues and comic timing in Ramba Oorvasi Menaka.

Interestingly, Surbhi Puranik is returning to Telugu cinema after a long gap. Her last notable film was Okka Kshanam (2017), where she played the female lead opposite Allu Sirish. After two years, she did another film, Voter (2019), followed by Sashi (2021). Now, after a five-year gap, she is back to Telugu cinema, this time opposite Allari Naresh.

Chaitan Bharadwaj is the music director, while Ram Reddy is the cinematographer. Vennela Kishore, VK Naresh, Srinivas Reddy and Muralidhar Goud are the other actors playing key roles in the film.

Produced jointly by Razesh Danda and Nimmakayala Prasad, the film is all set to hit the screens on September 4.
