Chiranjeevi's upcoming project, reunited him with director KS Ravindra (Bobby). The duo earlier collaborated on Waltair Veerayya, which turned out to be a hit. The makers have confirmed that the look test for this project has been completed and shared the update on social media.

The film is being produced by KVN Productions, which is making its entry into Telugu cinema with this project. The banner has earlier produced films in other languages, including the upcoming Jana Nayagan starring Vijay. Announcing the update, the makers posted: “The screen is set for another celebration. Megastar Chiranjeevi wraps the look test for Mega158. ChiruBobby2 muhurtham & shoot updates soon.”

Though the film was expected to go on floors earlier, the makers have now officially confirmed its progress. Meanwhile, there have been several speculations about the project. Reports suggest that Malayalam veteran Mohanlal might play a key role. There are also rumours that Chiranjeevi could be seen as a doctor in the film, which may not have a female lead. However, none of these details have been officially confirmed.

On the work front, Chiranjeevi is currently enjoying a successful phase. He recently delivered a hit with Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, directed by Anil Ravipudi. His upcoming film Vishwambhara is set for release later this year. He has also announced another project with director Srikanth Odela, which will be produced by actor Nani.
