Sharwanand is riding high this year, with his film Nari Nari Naduma Murari, released during Sankranthi, turning out to be a success. His recent release Biker also earned him appreciation for his performance. With two releases already this year, the actor is now focusing on his upcoming film Bhogi, directed by Sampath Nandi.

Bhogi is an ambitious pan-India period action drama that marks the first collaboration between Sharwanand and director Sampath Nandi. The film is being produced on a grand scale by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner and presented by Lakshmi Radhamohan. It is shaping up to be one of the most significant projects in Sharwanand’s career.

Following the positive response to its first look, the team has now begun a crucial schedule in Rajahmundry. This phase of the shoot is taking place in the rugged landscapes of the Rampachodavaram forests, where several intense and intricately designed action sequences are being filmed.

These action sequences are choreographed by Dhilip Subbarayan, promising a raw and immersive experience. Sharwanand, along with the principal cast, is actively participating in this schedule, which is expected to be a key phase in the film’s production.

With the striking tagline 'A Blood Fest,' Bhogi presents Sharwanand in a completely new avatar — rugged, intense, and deeply rooted in the film’s raw narrative. His transformation has already created considerable buzz and anticipation.

Director Sampath Nandi is setting the film against a gritty period backdrop along the North Telangana–Maharashtra border in the late 1960s. With its rooted storytelling and powerful setting, the film aims to deliver a compelling blend of realism and high-impact drama.

The film features Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayathi as the female leads, supported by a strong ensemble cast in key roles.
