Sharwanand’s upcoming pan-Indian project with director Sampath Nandi has been officially titled Bhogi. The announcement was made through a concept video titled “First Spark,” which introduces the central themes of destiny, struggle and transformation. The film also stars Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayathi in lead roles.

Produced by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner, and presented by Lakshmi Radhamohan, Bhogi is set in the 1960s in the northern Telangana-Maharashtra region. The announcement video shows Sharwanand listening to the story being narrated by Sampath Nandi, with visuals suggesting a backdrop of rebellion, war and resilience. The teaser concludes with a unique sword and the reveal of the title.

Principal photography commenced on Wednesday on a specially constructed set in Hyderabad, which reportedly took six months to build, spanning nearly 20 acres. Parts of the set were featured in the video, indicating the film’s large scale and vintage setting.

Kiran Kumar Manne is the art director, while details about the film’s cinematographer, music composer, and editor are set to be released soon. Bhogi will release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Sharwanand also has Nari Nari Naduma Murari, directed by Ram Abbaraju, alongside Samyuktha coming soon.
