Naveen Polishetty is back to doing what he does best, making audiences laugh, and his upcoming film Anaganaga Oka Raju seems perfectly timed for Sankranthi celebrations. The makers unveiled a new promo on Friday and it’s also attached to OG screenings in theatres.
The promo opens with a cheeky parody of a jewellery advertisement, featuring Meenaakshi Chaudhary showing off ornaments before Naveen barges in, draped in them himself. The gag, equal parts commentative and hilarious, instantly sets the comic tone. Naveen and Meenakshi’s playful chemistry keeps the laughs flowing, giving viewers a sneak peek into the zany world the film is aiming for.
As Anaganaga Oka Raju’s teaser unfolds, it shifts into a high-energy zone, offering glimpses of colourful sets, festival backdrops, fun moments and lighthearted romance. Naveen’s trademark comic timing are front and centre, making it clear that he’s both the driving force of the film and the face of its Sankranthi spirit.
What’s winning over fans is the freshness of the promo. Instead of sticking to routine cut-outs and punchlines, the teaser leans into Naveen’s flair for surprise, blending parody with high-energy visuals.
Anaganaga Oka Raju is directed by debutant Maari and produced under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with presentation by Srikara Studios. The film also has a personal touch, Naveen himself has worked on the script alongside his team of writers, making this project especially close to him. Music is by Mickey J Meyer, with cinematography by J Yuvraj.
Set to release on January 14, 2026 during the Sankranthi season, Anaganaga Oka Raju looks all set to deliver a laugh riot packed with wit, charm and festival-friendly fun.
