Nara Rohith’s Sundarakanda is set to premiere on Jio Hotstar on September 23. The romantic comedy which released on August 27 got positive reception for its ahead-of-time theme and gentle exploration. 

Sundarakanda with the tagline “No two love stories are the same” shows Siddharth’s two love stories, one with an older woman in his younger days and with a relatively younger woman in the present. Siddharth gets a surprise when he and his girlfriend, Priya try to convince her mother for the age-gap wedding. The film deals with the idea of love, age-based conflict in a slice-of-life tale. 

Marking the directorial debut of Venkatesh Nimmalapudi, Sundarakanda has Vriti Vaghani and Sri Devi Vijay Kumar playing the female leads opposite Rohith. Produced under Sandeep Picture Palace (SPP) by Santhosh Chinnapolla, Gowtham Reddy, and Rakesh Mahankalli.

Sundarakanda’s technical crew features cinematography by Pradeesh M Varma, and art direction by Rajesh Pentakota. The supporting cast includes Naresh Vijaya Krishna, Vasuki Anand, Satya, Ajay, VTV Ganesh, Abhinav Gomatam, Viswant, Rupa Lakshmi, Sunaina, and Raghu Babu.
