The makers of Mirai held a grand event in Vijaywada on Tuesday, to celebrate the box office success of their film. On the occasion, Mirai producer TG Vishwa Prasad announced his decision to present the actor-director duo of his film, Teja Sajja and Karthik Ghattamneni, for their hard work and contribution to Mirai’s success.

Addressing the audience, TG Vishwa Prasad said, “It’s a recent trend that heroes are presented cars when their film becomes a hit.” Turning to Teja Sajja, then, the producer said, “So I will gift a car to you. You can choose a car,” adding that he would also gift a car to director Karthik Gattamneni, whom he described as ‘the other hero’ of the film.

Earlier at the event, eminent writer-director BVS Ravi had nudged Vishwa Prasad about duly rewarding his team members for Mirai’s success. “Teja Sajja gave you such a big hit. Please announce on the stage later what gift are you planning to give him,” Ravi said, adding, “Mirai is going to rule the boxoffice for some more weeks.” Among others, Bobby Kolli and Sandeep Raj were present on the occasion.

As of Tuesday, Mirai has garnered nearly 92 crores (gross) at the box office worldwide. Despite a significant drop in its weekday collections, Mirai can comfortably look at sufficient theatrical run for another 8 days until the arrival of Pawan Kalyan’s OG.
