The buzz around They Call Him OG is only getting louder as the makers lock the release date for the film’s much-awaited third single, ‘Guns n Roses.’ The full song will drop on September 15 at 4:50 pm, just ten days ahead of the film’s theatrical debut on September 25.

Fans first got a glimpse of the track from OG during Pawan Kalyan’s birthday earlier this month, and the brief snippet instantly went viral across social media. With the complete version now ready for release, the makers are promising it will be one of the musical highlights of the album.

This comes after three earlier songs from the soundtrack, composed by Thaman S, which have become chartbusters already. Each number has been carefully positioned to complement the stylish gangster drama. ‘Guns n Roses,’ with its title alone, seems poised to strike a chord with audiences eagerly awaiting new glimpses of Kalyan’s character, Ojas Gambheera.

OG, directed by Sujeeth, itself arrives with sky-high hype. The slick gangster action drama backed by DVV Entertainment, the film marks Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi’s Telugu debut, where he plays a ruthless antagonist opposite Kalyan. Priyanka Arul Mohan plays the female lead, with Sriya Reddy, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Shaam and Harish Uthaman rounding out a strong ensemble cast.

Technically, OG’s technical crew includes Ravi K Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa are behind the lens, A S Prakash is in charge of production design, and Thaman is steering the music. With North American pre-sales already crossing the million-dollar mark and social media buzzing with every update, trade circles expect OG to open on a record-breaking note.
