Little Hearts, the youthful entertainer starring Mouli and Shivani Nagaram, continued to perform well as it entered its 2nd week on Friday. 

According to a report from Sacnilk.com, the Mouli starrer collected Rs 1.37 crore (nett) on September 12 at domestic box office. The drop is merely of 8 percent, compared to its Thursday collections which stood at 1.5 crore. What makes the hold remarkable is that September 12 saw the release of two Telugu films, Mirai and Kishkindhapuri. Mirai in particular has performed exceptionally well on its opening day, collecting nearly 19-20 crores worldwide. 

With such stiff competition at box office, such high footfalls for Little Hearts prove that the film has its own target audience, and will most likely continue to perform well for another two weeks despite the presence of Mirai, until Pawan Kalyan starrer OG hits the theatres. As of Friday, the film’s worldwide collections fall somewhere in the range of 24-25 crores. 

At a press meet on Thursday, the film’s distributor Bunny Vas stated that they are targeting a worldwide business of Rs 30 crore at the least. However, the Friday performance of the film indicates that the film will easily cross the 30 crore figure.

Little Hearts is produced by Aditya Hasan, and written-directed by debutant Sai Marthand. The romantic-comedy also marked film debut for Mouli, who has been a popular Internet figure for the past 5 years. The film has music by Sinjith Yerramilli and cinematography by Suriya Balaji.
