Tollywood is tilting towards romantic comedies after a while. Little Hearts, which hit theatres on September 5, became a break-out hit with its gen-z humour and endearing characters. On Tuesday, Nani and Ravi Teja took to social media to give a give a hat-tip to the modest film’s success.

“What a breezy fun film Little Hearts is. Laughed heartfully after long time. Akhil, Madhu, Khathyaayini (I'm not sure too about the spelling). You all made my day. I won’t say I love you, but for now I will just say, thank you,” Nani wrote appreciating the film’s humour.

Ravi Teja also wrote, “Heart, humour, and honest performances, everything at its best. Big congratulations to the entire team.”

Little Hearts, written and directed by Sai Marthand, stars Youtuber-turned-actor Mouli Tanuj and Shivani Nagaram in the lead roles. The romantic comedy revolves around a long-term underachieving mischievous student, Akhil (Mouli) and his pursuit of equally underachieving, Khaathyaayini (Shivani) as they deal light-heartedly with education, family pressures, silly friendships and finding a way to fulfil their relationship goals.

The technical crew for Little Hearts includes cinematography by Suriya Balaji, editing by Sreedhar Sompally and music by Sinjith Yerramilli. The film has been produced by Aditya Hasan with backing by ETVWin.
