Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is moving steadily towards completion, with the team gearing up for an important new schedule. Starting Monday, a song featuring Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara will be shot in Hyderabad, promising another colourful addition to the film’s lineup.
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is being produced by Sahu Garapati under Shine Screens, in association with Sushmita Konidela’s Gold Box Entertainments. With Smt. Archana presenting the film, expectations are high as this marks the first collaboration between Chiranjeevi and Ravipudi.
Being referred to as MSG, the film’s music is being handled by Bheems Ceciroleo, whose reputation for commercially appealing tracks precedes him. The upcoming song is set to be choreographed by Vijay Polanki.
On the technical front, the film has Sameer Reddy as the director of photography, Tammiraju as editor, and AS Prakash handling art direction. The script is a collaboration between S Krishna and G Adi Narayana, with S Krishna also serving as the executive producer.
While much of the plot remains under wraps, it is clear that Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu (MSG) is positioning itself as a wholesome family entertainer, set to release during the Sankranti festival in January 2026.
Adding to the anticipation, Venkatesh Daggubati will appear in an extended cameo, though his role is being kept under tight wraps. Anil Ravipudi has hinted at retaining the vintage flavour of humour that has always been associated with Chiranjeevi, while ensuring the film delivers a modern, vibrant experience.
