Anil Ravipudi, who has delivered the biggest hit of 2025 so far with Venkatesh starrer Sankranthiki Vasthunam, is working with Chiranjeevi in his next big project Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu. There was a huge uproar when the reports of Venkatesh making an extended cameo appearance in the film were confirmed. On Thursday, Venkatesh joined the sets of the film to shoot with Chiranjeevi.

On the occasion, the MSG team also released a special video where Venkatesh can be seen arriving on the sets and interacting with the director Anil Ravipudi. The video ends with an out-of-focus shot of Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh greeting each other, and joining fists for a never-before collaboration. Interestingly enough, in their 35 years of working alongside in the industry, Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh have never worked together in a film — Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu will mark their maiden collaboration.

Produced under the banners of Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainment, MSG also features Nayanthara as the female lead. VTV Ganesh will be seen in a supporting role. More details about the ensemble cast are yet to be officially announced.

Meanwhile, the first single of the film titled ‘Meesala Pilla’ has gone viral on social media, inspiring countless influencers and film-goers to create reels on the song video that features Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara. Bheems Ceciroleo is collaborating again with Anil Ravipudi after Sankranthiki Vasthunam. 

MSG was officially launched in March this year, with the film going on floors in May. The shoot for the film is currently happening at a rapid pace, which Anil Ravipudi is known for, with the makers aiming to comfortably ready their film for a Sankranthi 2026 release as planned earlier. Upon it’s release, MSG will clash against biggies like Prabhas starrer The Raja Saab and Naveen Polishetty’s comeback vehicle Anaganaga Oka Raju besides Sharwanand starrer Nari Nari Naduma Murari.
