Chiranjeevi is back to doing what audiences love him for which is lighting up the screen with charm, humour and a few perfectly timed dance moves. The first single from his upcoming film Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu (MSG), titled ‘Meesala Pilla’, has been unveiled on Tuesday. Sung by Udit Narayan and Shweta Mohan, with music by Bheems Ceciroleo, the track is a breezy, playful number that captures the everyday squabbles and sweet reconciliations of a married couple.
MSG’s song unfolds like a light-hearted musical argument, with Chiranjeevi’s character pleading for his wife to tone down her temper. Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar’s witty lyrics add sparkle to the melody, while Vijay Polaki’s choreography revives that unmistakable “vintage Chiru” timing. Chiranjeevi’s expressive face, and movements make the song instantly loveable, and his chemistry with Nayanthara works for the film.
Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, directed by Anil Ravipudi, marks the filmmaker’s first collaboration with Chiranjeevi, and expectations are sky-high. The film promises to blend Ravipudi’s signature humour with Chiru’s timeless charisma, offering a wholesome family entertainer in true festival style. Produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela under Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments, the film also stars Catherine Tresa.
On the technical front, the team features Sameer Reddy behind the camera, Tammiraju on editing, and AS Prakash handling production design. Adding to the anticipation is the presence of Venkatesh Daggubati, who will appear in an extended cameo role. Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is gearing up for release during Sankranthi 2026.
