Actor Ram Charan's wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela announced earlier today that they are anticipating a second child. Upasana made the announcement through her Instagram with a video showing the family in festive mood. In the clip, their family blesses Upasana and presents her with gifts. Ram Charan, his father Chiranjeevi and mother Surekha, as well as Lavanya Tripathi and Varun Tej, among others, celebrated the special moment. The couple's extended family, including Vignesh Shivan, Nayanthara, Pawan Kalyan's spouse Anna Lezhneva, and Venkatesh Daggubati, among others, also participated in the celebrations.

Upasana captioned the post, "This Diwali was all about double the celebration, double the love and double the blessings... Celebrating new beginnings."

Ram and Upasana tied the knot in June 2012 at a function in Hyderabad. According to reports, the couple has known each other since the ninth standard, having attended the same educational institution in Chennai. The couple embraced their first baby, a daughter known as Klin Kaaran, back in June 2023.

Last seen in director Shankar's political thriller Game Changer, Ram Charan's upcoming films include Peddi with writer-director Buchi Babu Sana. The film also features actors Shivarajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma. It is expected to release in March next year.
