Earlier today, the makers of Prabhas' next film with Sita Ramam director Hanu Raghavapudi announced Fauzi as the film's title. Shortly after the announcement, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello star Chaithra Achar revealed through social media that she is also part of the film's cast. Sharing the title poster on Instagram, she wrote, "Happy to be part of this beautiful creation of Hanu Raghavapudi sir. EXCITED!!!" Wishing Prabhas on his birthday, Chaithra wrote that the film tells "the bravest tale of a soldier from the hidden chapters of our history."

Prabhas plays an Army officer in the film, which also stars Imanvi in the female lead role. Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film, whose cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada, and Anupam Kher as well.

Fauzi is expected to mark Chaithra Achar's debut in Telugu cinema. So far, she has only done one film outside of Kannada cinema, the Tamil film, 3BHK, which also stars Siddharth, Sarathkumar, Devayani, and Meetha Raghunath.

Fauzi reunites Hanu Raghavapudi with his Sita Ramam composer Vishal Chandrashekhar. The technical team of the film also includes cinematographer Sudeep Chatterjee and editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.

The film is set to release theatrically in August next year.
