On Monday, the makers of Prabhas-Hanu Raghavapudi film, reportedly titled Fauji had promised a title reveal announcement in coming few weeks. On Wednesday, the team shared a title tease poster, giving its audience more hints about the film’s storyline and universe.

While the new poster doesn’t reveal Prabhas’ complete look in the film, what can be seen is the Great Britain flag and the caption, “Most Wanted since 1932.” In addition to being a film about an Army Hero, Fauji now confirms to be a period drama set in the British rule, where Prabhas possibly plays a freedom fighter, and a revolutionary.

The earlier shared poster carrying many inscriptions in Sanskrit, which hinted at a heavy incorporation of mythological themes in the film. The title will be officially announced on Friday, October 24.

It is to be noted that Hanu Raghavapudi’s previous film Sita Ramam too had a period backdrop, largely unfolding in the 1960s as it told the love story between its titular characters (played by Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur), where too the male protagonist was an army man.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film marks the debut of Imanvi as the female lead and boasts a seasoned supporting cast that includes Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, and Jaya Prada in key roles. The music is by Vishal Chandrashekhar, whose score for Sita Ramam remains a fan favourite. Other key technicians include cinematographer Sudeep Chatterjee and editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The film has been tentatively scheduled for August 2026 release.

Meanwhile Prabhas has a big release lined up in January 2026 with The Raja Saab, the horror-comedy directed by Maruthi which also stars Nidhhi Aggerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Sanjay Dutt.
