A few days ago, producer Razesh Danda had confirmed that one of their upcoming projects stars Samyuktha in the lead, and that they plan to unveil the first look on the occasion of Diwali. On Monday, the makers shared the first look poster, also confirming ‘The Black Gold’ as the title of their film.

Billed as an action-driven entertainer, The Black Gold promises to showcase Samyuktha in an unprecedented ruthless avatar. The newly-unveiled poster shows the actor standing amidst a sea of corpses at a railway station, while she holds a gun in her hand. There is a very macabre feel to the imagery, especially with a man hanging in the backdrop that implies a no-holds-barred violence quotient in the film.

Samyuktha shared the update on her X page, describing The Black Gold as a film ‘that’s incredibly close to my heart… one that promises to take you on a journey full of action, emotion, intensity, and heartwarming moments.’ The actor also shared that the team plans to unveil many more of such posters from their film.

The Black Gold is being directed by Yogesh KMC aka Yogie, who has directed a few films like Oka Raju Oka Rani (2003), Chintakayala Ravi (2008), and Jadoogadu (2015). More details about the primary cast and crew are yet to be officially announced.

A Vasanth is the cinematographer, and Chota K Prasad is the editor. Sam CS has been signed to composed music for the film. Prasad Naaidu has been credited with story and dialogues.

The Black Gold team has wrapped up nearly 50 % of the shoot so far, and is yet to get a release date. Meanwhile, Samyuktha will promising have a wide array of film releases before that. She will next be seen in Akhanda 2, that will hit theatres on December 5. Her upcoming films include  Maharagni: Queen of Queens, Nikhil Siddhartha starrer Swayambhu, Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ next, the much-delayed Naari Naari Naduma Murari, Puri Jagannadh’s film with Vijay Sethupathi and Tabu, and Tamil films like Benz and Ram.
