Prabhas, who has a big release lined up in January 2026 with The Raja Saab, is also working with Sita Ramam director Hanu Raghavapudi in his next project. The title is reported to be Fauji, as unofficially stated by many people associated with the project. On the occasion of Diwali, the makers announced that a major update will be shared on Wednesday, October 22.

The team also shared a new concept poster of their film which hides as much as it reveals. While showcasing a man in shadows as plenty of funs are seen firing on the fringes and carrying the tagline ‘A battalion who stands alone,’ the poster also makes space for plenty of inscriptions in Sankrit, besides cryptic code-like numbers. Some of these inscriptions, like ‘Kaunteya’ (which means Kunti’s son) and ‘Kshatriya na vidyate’ ( meaning ‘there is no better duty for a kshatriya’)  allude to a strong reference to Mahabharata as part of the storyline.

It remains to be seen whether on October 22, the makers only reveal the title or also a teaser that gives more hints about the film’s concept and themes.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film marks the debut of Imanvi as the female lead and boasts a seasoned supporting cast that includes Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, and Jaya Prada in key roles. The music is by Vishal Chandrashekhar, whose score for Sita Ramam remains a fan favourite. Other key technicians include cinematographer Sudeep Chatterjee and editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.

The film has been tentatively scheduled for August 2026 release.

Prabhas’ other projects in pipeline include Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, for which the Baahubali actor is yet to commence shooting. Spirit also stars Tripti Dimrii in a major role.
