Samyuktha, who hasn’t appeared in a Telugu film in nearly two years now, will have a slew of Telugu film releases in the next year or so. Starting with Akhanda 2, that will have a theatrical release on December 5 this year, Samyuktha will soon be seen in films like Nikhil Siddhartha  starrer Swayambhu, Naari Naari Naduma Murari and Puri Jagannadh’s film with Vijay Sethupathi and Tabu.

Now it is confirmed that Samyuktha will also headline one of upcoming projects from Rajesh Danda’s Hasya Movies. During a recent interview, Razesh Danda confirmed that they have completed nearly 50% of the shoot for the film, and that the first glimpse will be released soon on the occasion of Diwali. He also described it as a ‘women-centric’ film.

Reportedly titled Black Gold, the film is being directed by Yogesh MC aka Yogie, who has directed a few films like Oka Raju Oka Rani (2003), Chintakayala Ravi (2008), and Jadoogadu (2015). Black Gold will mark his return to Telugu cinema after more than a decade.

More details about the project will be announced at the time of teaser unveiling.

Meanwhile, Samyuktha is also part of Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ BSS 12. However, there hasn’t been an official update from the makers on the project. BSS12 was launched in July last year.  Additionally, Samyuktha’s other upcoming projects include Maharagni: Queen of Queens and Tamil films like Benz and Ram.
