It looks like Little Hearts has managed to keep audiences’ hearts fluttering long after its theatrical run. The hit rom-com, starring Mouli Tanuj and Shivani Nagaram, has now crossed an impressive 200 million streaming minutes on ETV Win, where it premiered on October 1.
Directed by Sai Marthand, the youthful entertainer has found a second wave of success in the digital space. Fans have been quick to praise its mix of breezy romance, relatable humour, and cleverly written characters and it turns out, the OTT version came with a small but delightful surprise.
For those who stuck around after the credits, a bonus scene shows Marthand himself, who also plays Akhil’s brother in the film, sharing a funny moment with Shivani’s on-screen sister Neelambari. The scene ends with a cheeky sequel tease, sending fans into speculation over what Little Hearts 2 might bring.
The film tells the story of Akhil, an affable but underachieving student, and his equally directionless love interest Khaathyaayini. Their relationship unfolds through a blend of awkward family situations, campus chaos, and heartfelt confessions all packaged in a tone that’s equal parts satirical and sincere.
Shot with a lively aesthetic by Suriya Balaji and cut crisply by Sreedhar Sompally, Little Hearts also benefits from Sinjith Yerramilli’s chartbuster music. The production has been backed by Aditya Hasan under ETV Win Originals.
At the box office, the film had already proven its mettle, grossing over Rs 40 crore during its theatrical run. Its strong digital performance only adds to its growing reputation as one of Telugu cinema’s breakout rom-coms of the year.
