Leading the wishes is Jr NTR, Rajamouli’s long-time collaborator and RRR star. Jr NTR posted on X (formerly Twitter), Wishing you a very Happy Birthday Jakkana SS Rajamouli!! Loads of love.” The post, accompanied by a candid photo of the duo, quickly went viral.

Mahesh Babu, who is currently teaming up with Rajamouli for their much-anticipated globe-trotting adventure, SSMB29. Sharing a striking image, the superstar wrote, “Wishing the one and only SS Rajamouli a very Happy Birthday… The best is always yet to come. Have a great one sir.”

That line, “The best is always yet to come,” has already set fans buzzing, with many speculating it hints at a teaser or title reveal for the film, reportedly named Varanasi. Produced by KL Narayana under Durga Arts, the film unofficially stars Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran, with MM Keeravani composing the music. It’s expected to hit screens in March 2027, marking Rajamouli’s most ambitious project yet.

Meanwhile, the director is also gearing up for the worldwide release of Baahubali: The Epic on October 31, a remastered five-hour cut that combines both parts of his legendary saga.
