In what’s shaping up to be one of the most intriguing collaborations Harshavardhan Rameshwar, the Animal and Arjun Reddy fame composer, has officially joined Puri Jagannadh’s next directorial venture, tentatively titled #PuriSethupathi.

The makers made the announcement on social media, writing, The blockbuster composer whose music speaks louder than words! Team #PuriSethupathi welcomes National Award-winning music director @rameemusic on board. Get ready for a new-age musical experience that blends action, emotion, and elevation.”

To which Harshavardhan replied, "I am very much happy to be associated with one of my favorite Director #PuriJagannadh sir.” The film marks the first-ever collaboration between Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Sethupathi, a duo that has naturally sparked curiosity across languages. While the team is keeping plot details under wraps, industry reports suggests that the project might be titled Slum Dog, though an official confirmation is still pending.

#PuriSethupathi’s ensemble reportedly features Tabu in a crucial role, Samyuktha as the female lead, and Duniya Vijay and Brahmaji in key parts. The film is being jointly produced by Charmme Kaur under Puri Connectsand JB Narayana Rao Kondrolla of JB Motion Pictures.

After a string of lukewarm outings, Puri seems determined to deliver something fresh and fierce with #PuriSethupathi, billed as a pan-India project releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
