Even as Ravi Teja’s upcoming film Mass Jathara will finally have a release later this month on October 31 after multiple delays, the Dhamaka actor has been shooting for his next project RT76 at a brisk pace. Directed by Kishore Tirumala, the film was initially titled Anarkali. However, now reports are coming in that the makers are planning to retitle the film as Bharta Mahaaseyulaku Vignyapthi.

While an official announcement from the team is yet to be made, Ketika Sharma and Ashika Ranganath are playing the female leads in the comedy entertainer. Bheems Ceciroleo is composing music for the film.

Currently, the RT76 team is stationed in Europe, busy with the shoot of two song sequences and some talkie portions, which they shall conclude by the end of October.

RT76 is being produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV banner. The project was officially launched in June this year, with shoot commencing in Hyderabad. The film’s technical team includes cinematographer Prasad Murella, editor Sreekar Prasad, and production designer AS Prakash.

Interestingly enough, the makers were initially planning to release their film on the occasion of Sankranthi 2026. It remains to be seen whether the makers will continue with their plans, and hence clashing against multiple big vehicles like Chiranjeevi-Nayanthara’s Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, Prabhas’ The Raja Saab and Naveen Polishetty’s Anaganaga Oka Raju

Kishore Tirumala is known for comedy films like Nenu Sailaja and Chitralahari among others. The filmmaker has also worked as a writer on films like Nenu Meeku Telusa?, Red, and Raghuvaran B.Tech.

Meanwhile, Mass Jathara will be first film release for Ravi Teja in more than a year, who had two releases last year, with Mr Bachchan and Eagle, both of which performed underwhelmingly at the box office.
