On Friday, production banner Sreeyas Chitra officially launched their fifth feature film production, in collaboration with Purna Naidu Production. Chaitanya Rao Madadi, known for Keedaa Cola, Ghaati and 30 Weds 21, will be playing the male lead in the film.

Billed as a youthful love story, the film is being produced by Purna Naidu and Srikanth V.  Kranthi Madhav helms direction for the untitled film. Ira Dayanand and Sakhee Roy, who have been signed as the female leads, too were present at the ceremony.

Many notable film personalities like Deva Katta, KL Damodar Prasad, Vara Mullapudi, and Poorna Naidu were present at the muhurtham puja ceremony. Deva Katta, who has worked with Chaitanya in Maya Sabha, gave the muhurtham clap. KL Damodar Prasad, meanwhile, switched on the camera 

Kranthi Madhav, who has previously written and directed films like Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju and Vijay Deverakonda starrer World Famous Lover, said on the occasion, "This is my second with Chaitanya. I share a long-standing bond with Chaitanya and Poorna. After Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju, I wanted to do another film with Purna. When my last film didn’t do well and I faced challenges, it was Purna who came forward and said, ‘Let’s make a film.’ This movie is a new-age love story, and we are planning to shoot it on a grand scale in beautiful locations.” Producer Purna Naidu praised Kranthi’s work, adding, “I’ve always loved the stories he tells. Meanwhile, Srikanth has been a partner in all my projects and continues to be so with this one.”

Chaitanya Rao said, “I’ve had a close association with Kranthi for three years. He is a director I deeply admire. Working with Kranthi on two films in a row is truly special for me, and both of these will release in 2026. I believe audiences expect something unique from me with each film, and I aim to live up to that.”

Ira Dayanand shared, “Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju is one of my favorite movies - I’ve probably watched it 20 times. When I got a call from Kranthi sir, I was overjoyed. I loved the story, and I’m honored to be a part of this project.” Ira Dayanand is also working with Tamil filmmaker Mysskin in his next project Train, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi. 

Phani Kalyan is the music composer for the film, while Gnana Sekhar VS will helm cinematography. Chinna is the production designer.
