Chitralayam Studios launched their upcoming project titled Baa Baa Black Sheep on Wednesday, with a motion concept poster. Notable filmmaker Tharun Bhascker, popular for films like Keedaa Cola and Ee Nagaraniki Emainidi, met the team and unveiled the poster at a small ceremony.

The poster promises for the film to revolve around guns, gold, and a hunt, featuring the wit and intelligence of three individuals. The narrative unfolding in a single day, will have humour arising from the bizarre situations the three men face, and the crimes that occur during this period.

Billed as a new-age crime comedy, Baa Baa Black Sheep features actors like Goerge Marian, Hostel Days fame Akshay Lagusani, Karthikeya, Vismayashri, Vishnu Oi, Abhinava, Harsha, Anish Kuruvilla, Kadambari Kiran, Kishore Krishna, Malavi, Samruddhi, and KL Damodar Prasad in the ensemble cast. Bollywood veterans Tinnu Anand and Upendra Limaye will be seen in prominent roles as well.

Guni Manchikanti, who helms direction for Baa Baa Black Sheep, has also penned the story and screenplay for the film. Stephen and Anand have composed music for the film, while JD Master is onboard as choreographer. Nataraj is the action director. Ajay Abraham George helms cinematography. Vijay Mukthavarapu is the editor, and Sahi Suresh is the art director.

Chitralayalam Studios is headed by Venu Donepudi. Kondal Jinna is onboard as co-producer for the film. The team will commence regular shoot soon.
