A few weeks ago, the Dhandoraa team set December 25 as the release date for their film. On Saturday, the first single of the film was unveiled. Mark K Robin is the music composer for the upcoming social satire-drama.

Penned by Purna Chari, ‘Pilla’ is an upbeat romantic number with an interesting incorporation of techno beats, carrying a jubilant vibe overall. Anurag Kulkarni and Aditi Bhavaraju are the playback singers for the film.  JD Master has choreographed the song video, which features Ravi Krishna and Manika Chikkala playing the young lovers as their romance blossoms with secret meetings and gift exchanges.

Written and directed by Murali Kanth Devasoth, Dhandoraa is produced by Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni under Loukya Entertainments. In its lead cast, the film features Sivaji, Navdeep, Nandu, and Bindu Madhavi, while actors like Ravi Krishna, Manika, Mounika Reddy, Raadhya, and Muralidhar Goud comprise the supporting cast. In the technical team, Venkat R Sakhamuri is the cinematography. Srujana Adusumilli is the editor. Kranthi Priyam is the art director, and Rekha Boggarapu is the costume designer. 

At the box office, Dhandoraa will have a stiff competition from films like Roshan Meka-Anaswara Rajan’s Champion and Shambhala, among other films which too are going for a December 25 release. The film is being produced overseas by Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures.
