Anil Ravipudi was present at the International Film Festival of India, Goa that concluded on Friday, for a special screening of his blockbuster Sankranthiki Vasthunam. On the occasion, he spoke about his upcoming film with Chiranjeevi while also talking about core essence of many of his films.

Talking about Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, Anil Ravipudi said, “This film will be 100 percent a complete Sankranthi bonanza. You will see Chiranjeevi in a complete family entertainer after 20 years, something we all were dying for. He has a complete makeover here, and he will surprise everyone.” Mentioning Venkatesh’s extended cameo as another surprise factor in his movie, Anil added, “I hope people will come in large numbers to celebrate the movie this Sankranthi too.”

Talking about his film’s screening, the director said, “It’s good to have my film playing amidst national-level movies and films of different genres. In my films too, I have always tried to convey some values while making an entertainer that appeals to everyone. In Sankranthiki Vasthunam, it had a message about respecting teachers. Bhagavanth Kesari spoke about giving your best in life to rise above barriers. F2 also had a message about husband-wife relationships. Personally, I feel proud to get national recognition of this kind.”

Produced by Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments, Mana Shankara Varaprasad also stars Nayanthara in a major role. The first single of the film ‘Meesala Pilla’ has emerged as a massive chartbuster.
