Karthi continues to strengthen his bond with Telugu audiences, as his upcoming Tamil film Vaa Vaathiyaar is now set for a Telugu release titled Annagaru Vostaru. The makers have announced that the teaser of the Telugu version will be released on November 28, with celebrated filmmaker Anil Ravipudi unveiling it.

The film, produced by K E Gnanavel Raja under the Studio Green banner, is directed by Nalan Kumarasamy and is touted to be an action-comedy entertainer. Krithi Shetty stars as the female lead.  Karthi will be seen as a police officer in this entertainer, a role that has already generated considerable buzz among movie lovers. Expectations are high, especially as the actor’s previous film Meiyazhagan received critical acclaim, setting the bar even higher for his next outing.

For Krithi Shetty too, this film carries significant hopes. After her blockbuster debut with Uppena, she has been waiting for a solid commercial success, and she is pinning her expectations on this December release to mark a strong comeback.

Many of Karthi’s past films have performed exceptionally well in the Telugu market, making this release one of the awaited ones for his fans here. One of his major hits Awaara (Paiyaa in Tamil) recently had a re-release in Telugu speaking states.
