At a recent event, Sandeep Reddy Vanga confirmed when the filming of Spirit will begin. Spirit is Vanga's fourth film, which has Prabhas in the lead.
The director at an event for the upcoming film Jigris, announced the news with a simple and straightforward statement and said, "Spirit will start from this month's end." The announcement was met with great fanfare from the audience present at the event.
On the occasion of Prabhas' birthday, on October 24, a 'sound story' teaser for the film was released. The teaser revealed the full cast of the film which includes Tripti Dimri, Prakash Raj, Vivek Oberoi, and Kanchana. For Kanchana the film will be the second time a collaboration with Sandeep Reddy, after Arjun Reddy (2017). Tripti Dimri will also be collaborating for the second time with the director after Animal (2023).
Meanwhile, Jigris, directed by Harish Reddy Uppala, is releasing on November 14. The film stars Krishna Burugula, Dheeraj Athreya, Mani Vaka and Ram Nithin.
