The official teaser of upcoming romance-action film Mowgli was unveiled at a grand ceremony on Wednesday evening. NTR Jr met with the primary team of the film, unveiling the teaser and congratulating the team for their project, that’s being produced by People Media Story.

Written and directed by Sandeep Raj, Mowgli promises to revolve around the love story of two everyday youngsters, played by Roshan Kanakala and debutant Sakshi Mhadolkar. While Roshan plays a crew member on a film set, aspiring to become a cop, Sakshi plays a junior artist. Their humble aspirations to start a life together are thwarted by the arrival of an evil, sadistic cop who theatens to be the ‘Ravana’ figure in their seemingly-blissful love story.  Bandi Saroj Kumar plays the dramatic villain figure, while Harsha Chemudu too is part of the lead cast.

The Mowgli teaser, however, ends on a strange note, with the male protagonist lamenting about the unknown struggles of being a man in today’s world, strangely reminiscent of another recent People Media Factory film Telusu Kada

Mowgli appears mounted on a massive scale, with an endearing balance of sentiment and adrenaline. Kaala Bhairava has composed music for the film. The technical team includes Rama Maruti M as the cinematographer and Peekay as the editor. Kiran Mamidi is the art director, and Natraj Madigona is the action director. Costumes are by GV Annapurna and Sushmitha Bommidi.  Rama Maruthi M & Radhakrishna Reddy are credited as co-writers.

Mowgli is slated for a theatrical release on December 12. It is to be noted that Roshan made his debut exactly two years ago with Bubblegum, in December 2023.
